Possible Causes
Damaged float valve silicone cap, Food debris around float seat, Bent float pin, Incorrect assembly of float components
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the cooker to cool and depressurize before disassembling the float valve.
Float valve service:
- Remove the small retaining clip from the top of the float valve and slide the pin out.
- Clean the float, its seat, and the surrounding lid area.
- Inspect the silicone cap on the float for tears or deformation; replace if damaged.
- Reassemble in the correct order: float from below, silicone cap, then retaining clip.
Test with water. If the float still does not seal, replace the entire float valve assembly.
