Safety first: Unplug and allow to cool before cleaning.

• Soak and clean pot: Fill the inner pot with warm soapy water and soak to loosen burnt food. Use non-abrasive tools to clean.
• Check coating: Inspect the non-stick surface. If heavily scratched or peeling, replace the inner pot.
• Adjust recipes: Add more liquid, avoid thick sauces at the bottom, and stir frequently in sauté mode.
