Possible Causes

Lid not properly closed, Misaligned lid lock mechanism, Faulty lid closed sensor, Worn or swollen sealing ring preventing full closure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the cooker is not under pressure before manipulating the lid.

  • Re-close lid: Open and close the lid firmly until you hear the locking click. Make sure the handle is fully in the locked position.
  • Check sealing ring: Remove the silicone sealing ring from the lid, clean it and the groove, then reinstall it evenly. Replace if stretched, cracked, or swollen.
  • Inspect latch: Look for food debris around the latch hook and catch. Clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  • Test lid sensor: With the unit plugged in (but not cooking), gently press down on the lid near the latch and see if the lid icon or message disappears. If it does, the latch may be misaligned; adjust by tightening hinge/latch screws if accessible.
  • Persistent error: A faulty lid sensor or lock assembly will need replacement.
