Lid is very difficult to open after cooking, even after pressure release.

Safety first: Never force the lid open. Ensure all pressure is released.

• Check float valve: Confirm the float valve has dropped fully. If not, gently tap the lid to help it drop.
• Secondary release: Carefully move the steam release valve to ensure no residual steam remains.
• Clean locking mechanism: After opening, clean the lid lock, float valve, and surrounding areas to remove sticky residue.
• Replace sealing ring: If the ring is deformed and causing vacuum sticking, install a new ring.
