Possible Causes
Warped inner bowl rocking on heater plate, Foreign object trapped under bowl, Loose heater plate mounting screws, Deformed spring-loaded bowl support
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and allow to cool before inspecting inside.
- Remove bowl: Take out the inner pot and inspect the heater plate for foreign objects (rice grains, utensils, etc.).
- Check bowl bottom: Look for dents or warping. Replace the bowl if it does not sit flat.
- Press heater plate: Gently press the center of the heater plate; it should move slightly and spring back smoothly. Grinding or excessive movement indicates a mechanical issue.
- Advanced repair: Tighten heater plate mounting screws from underneath or replace the spring support assembly if worn.
