Possible Causes
Defective motor tachometer sensor, Damaged or loose tachometer wiring harness, Debris or damage on motor magnet/encoder, Faulty speed feedback circuit on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the Thermomix before any disassembly. Moving parts and mains voltage are present inside.
- Check for overload: Remove the bowl contents and check if the blades or shaft are jammed by hard food pieces or foreign objects. Free any obstruction and try again.
- Test at low speed: With an empty bowl, try running at a low speed. If C7 appears immediately, the issue is likely electronic rather than mechanical load.
- Advanced inspection: Remove the bottom cover and locate the motor assembly. Inspect the tachometer sensor and wiring for damage or disconnection. Ensure the sensor is correctly positioned relative to the motor magnet/encoder.
- Professional calibration: If the tachometer sensor tests good but the error persists, the main PCB speed feedback circuit may be defective. Replacement and calibration should be done by a qualified technician.
