Possible Causes
Debris or food trapped between base and countertop, One or more feet not contacting surface properly, Load cell mounting slightly loose, Warped base frame affecting load distribution
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the Thermomix before moving or tilting it.
- Level surface: Place the unit on a hard, flat, level surface. Avoid seams between countertop tiles or uneven boards.
- Clean under base: Lift the appliance and remove any crumbs or debris under the feet. Ensure all feet touch the surface evenly.
- Zero the scale: Turn on the unit, ensure the bowl is empty, and press the tare/zero function before weighing.
- Check for side contact: Make sure the machine is not touching walls, cables, or other objects that could affect the scale.
- Service if unresolved: If readings remain unstable, the load cell or its mounting may be faulty and require professional adjustment or replacement.
