Possible Causes

Partially failed heating element, Poor thermal contact between bowl and heater block, Temperature sensor drift causing underheating, Excessive scaling or residue on bowl bottom

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning or inspection.

  • Clean bowl bottom: Thoroughly clean the outside bottom of the bowl to remove burnt-on residue or scale that can insulate heat transfer.
  • Check bowl seating: Ensure the bowl is fully seated and locked into the base so it contacts the heater block properly.
  • Test with water: Heat a measured amount of water from room temperature to a set temperature and time how long it takes. Compare with normal performance.
  • Service if slow: If heating remains significantly slower than normal, the heater or temperature sensor may be partially failing and should be tested and replaced by a technician.
