Possible Causes
Failed bottom NTC thermistor, Broken sensor wiring harness, Loose connector on main PCB, Corroded sensor terminals under heater plate
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the multicooker and allow it to cool completely. Do not attempt to cook while this error is present.
- Visual inspection under the inner pot: Remove the inner pot and inspect the central sensor area on the heater plate for signs of damage, corrosion, or burnt marks.
- Check for moisture: If liquid has boiled over in the past, moisture may have entered the sensor area. Gently wipe the heater plate and sensor with a dry cloth. Let the unit air-dry for several hours before retesting.
- Reset and test: After drying, plug the unit back in, press Cancel/Off, then select a simple program. If E03 appears immediately, the sensor circuit is likely open.
- Internal check (advanced users only): If you are comfortable and the warranty has expired, remove the bottom cover (after unplugging) to inspect the sensor wiring harness from the heater plate to the main PCB. Look for broken wires or loose connectors and reseat them firmly.
- Do not bypass the sensor: Operating without a working temperature sensor is unsafe and can cause overheating or fire. If wiring and connectors look intact but E03 remains, the NTC sensor or main PCB must be replaced by a qualified technician.
