Possible Causes
Main heater relay failure on PCB, Open main heater element, Faulty mode selection circuit, Overheat protection latched
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker before inspection.
- Confirm symptom: Verify that the unit can enter Keep Warm but not Cook. Listen for the click of the heater relay when starting a cook program.
- Check for previous overheating: If the cooker recently boiled dry or had repeated overheat errors, the main heater or thermal fuse may have opened.
- Internal inspection (advanced): With the bottom cover removed (unplugged), check continuity of the main heater element and thermal fuse using a multimeter. Also inspect the relay on the PCB for burn marks.
- Do not bypass safety: If the thermal fuse is open, replace it with the correct rated part. If the relay is burnt, the PCB should be replaced.
