Possible Causes
Bottom sensor reading too low, Firmware logic issue, Poor thermal contact between pot and heater, Inner pot not original Toshiba type
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not consume food kept at lukewarm temperatures for extended periods; risk of bacterial growth.
- 1. Use original pot: Ensure you are using the Toshiba inner pot supplied for your model.
- 2. Clean contact surfaces: Remove residue from the heater plate and pot bottom.
- 3. Sensor check: Inspect and, if necessary, replace the bottom NTC sensor as described for E1.
- 4. Functional test: After repairs, test keep-warm with water and measure temperature after 1–2 hours; it should remain above 60°C (140°F).
If keep-warm remains unreliable, main PCB replacement may be required.
