Possible Causes
Incorrect detection of boiling/pressure due to sensor error, Insufficient liquid in pot, Faulty temperature or pressure sensor, Firmware logic issue
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Ensure adequate liquid is used to avoid dry heating.
- 1. Check recipe and fill level: Confirm you are using enough water as per Toshiba instructions for the selected program.
- 2. Clean sensors and heater: Remove residue from heater plate and ensure sensors are clean and firmly attached.
- 3. Sensor replacement: If premature termination occurs across multiple programs, replace the bottom NTC and, for pressure programs, the pressure sensor module.
- 4. Test with water: Run a standard rice or pressure program with only water and observe if the full cycle completes.
If the issue persists after hardware checks, main PCB replacement may be necessary.
