Possible Causes
Loose heater plate or mounting screws, Arcing at heater or relay terminals, Deformed inner pot causing unstable contact, Failing relay on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug immediately if you suspect electrical arcing or burning smell.
- 1. Identify noise source: Run the cooker briefly with only water and listen carefully. Stop if noise is loud or irregular.
- 2. Check pot and heater contact: Ensure the inner pot sits flat and can rotate slightly on the central pivot (if designed). Replace a deformed pot.
- 3. Tighten heater assembly: Remove the bottom cover and tighten any loose screws securing the heater plate and chassis.
- 4. Inspect electrical connections: Look for blackened or loose spade terminals on the heater and relay. Repair or replace damaged connectors and, if necessary, the main PCB.
Do not continue using the cooker if you see sparks or smell burning insulation.
