Possible Causes
Condensate collector missing or overflowing, Cracked inner pot, Damaged or misrouted condensate channel, Lid gasket not sealing properly causing runoff
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the cooker and let it cool before cleaning up spills.
- 1. Check condensate collector: Ensure the Toshiba condensate cup is installed correctly on the rear or side of the cooker and is not full. Empty and clean it regularly.
- 2. Inspect condensate channel: Look for the small channel or spout that directs water into the collector. Clean any food residue and ensure it is not cracked or dislodged.
- 3. Examine inner pot: Remove and inspect the pot for hairline cracks or damage to the rim. Replace if any damage is found.
- 4. Lid gasket seal: If water runs down from the lid edge, inspect and replace the lid gasket as needed.
Do not operate the cooker with a missing condensate collector; water can damage internal electronics.
