Possible Causes
Firmware glitch in control PCB, Simultaneous sensor faults (temperature and pressure), Stuck keypad or shorted touch panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the multicooker before cleaning or disassembly.
- Full reset: Unplug for 15–20 minutes. While unplugged, press and hold the main Start/Cancel button (if mechanical) for 10 seconds to discharge any residual power. Plug back in and check.
- Clean control panel: Wipe the touch panel or buttons with a slightly damp cloth, then dry. Ensure no liquid has seeped into the panel causing a stuck key.
- Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually and confirm they move freely and return. A physically stuck button can trigger an Err message.
- Inspect internal connectors: If comfortable, open the housing and reseat the ribbon cable or connector from the keypad/touch panel to the main PCB.
If the Err message persists, the control PCB or keypad membrane may need replacement by a service technician.
