Possible Causes

Blown internal fuse on mains input board, Faulty power cord or plug, Failed low-voltage power supply section on main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Verify the wall socket with another appliance. Unplug the multicooker before opening it. Mains voltages can be lethal.

  • Check external power: Confirm the socket works and that any wall switches are on. Avoid extension leads.
  • Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks. If the cord is damaged, replace it or have it replaced; do not tape over damage.
  • Open base and check fuse: Remove the bottom cover to access the mains input area. Many Tower multicookers have a small glass or ceramic fuse in series with the live input. Test continuity with a multimeter; replace only with the same rating if blown.
  • Check PCB for damage: Inspect the main PCB for burnt components or bulging capacitors. If present, the board must be replaced.

If replacing the fuse does not restore power, the internal power supply or main PCB is likely faulty and should be serviced professionally.
