Tower
Failure to Build Pressure
Multicooker heats but never reaches pressure; steam constantly escapes from the lid and food takes much longer to cook.

Possible Causes
Damaged or hardened silicone sealing ring, Steam release valve not in sealing position, Worn or missing float valve silicone cap
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep hands and face away from steam vents. Unplug and allow to cool before disassembling lid parts.
- Check valve position: Ensure the steam release valve is set to the sealing position for pressure cooking. On some Tower models this is a marked icon rather than text.
- Inspect sealing ring: Remove the silicone ring from the lid. Look for cracks, flattening, or stiffness. Clean with warm soapy water, rinse, dry, and reinstall evenly. Replace if damaged or more than 2–3 years old.
- Examine float valve: Remove the float valve and its small silicone cap. Clean any food residue and ensure the cap is not split. Replace if worn.
- Check lid and rim: Clean the stainless-steel rim of the cooker body and the mating surface on the lid to remove food or starch that can prevent sealing.
If the cooker still fails to build pressure after these steps, the lid assembly or internal pressure sensor calibration may be faulty and require professional service.
