Possible Causes

Inner pot overfilled causing boil-over into base, Damaged or missing condensation collector, Cracked inner pot or damaged non-stick coating exposing metal

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool before lifting or tilting. Do not operate with water inside the base.

  • Inspect inner pot: Remove and check for cracks, pinholes, or severe coating damage. Replace the pot if any structural damage is found.
  • Check condensation collector: Many Tower models have a removable plastic condensation cup at the rear. Ensure it is fitted correctly and not cracked or overflowing.
  • Dry the base: Remove the bottom cover and gently dry any moisture with a cloth. Leave the unit open in a warm, dry place for 24 hours before reuse.
  • Avoid overfilling: Follow the MAX fill lines and avoid thick sauces that can foam excessively.

If leaks persist without overfilling and with a sound inner pot, the cooker body or internal seals may be compromised and require professional inspection.
