Safety first: Unplug the cooker before any inspection.

• Power cycle: Leave the unit unplugged for 10–15 minutes, then reconnect and try a simple program with water only.
• Dry the control panel: If steam has condensed on the display or buttons, wipe the surface dry and allow the cooker to sit in a warm, dry room for 24 hours.
• Avoid covering the lid: Do not drape towels over the lid or control panel during cooking, as this can force steam into the electronics.
• Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually to ensure none are stuck or permanently depressed.

If the generic error returns immediately on power-up or when any button is pressed, the control PCB or keypad membrane may be defective and require replacement.
