Pressure Leak / Cannot Build Pressure
Multicooker heats but never reaches or holds pressure; steam constantly escapes from the lid area.

Possible Causes
Damaged or mis-seated silicone lid gasket, Steam release valve stuck in venting position, Debris on lid sealing surface, Cracked lid or warped inner pot rim
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use caution around hot steam. Turn the unit off and allow it to cool before disassembling the lid.
- Check steam release position: Ensure the steam release knob or lever is set to the sealing position for pressure cooking.
- Inspect gasket: Remove the silicone lid gasket, wash it with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry. Check for cracks, hardening, or deformation. Reinstall it firmly in the lid groove.
- Clean sealing surfaces: Wipe the top rim of the inner pot and the lid's metal sealing ring to remove food residue or dried starch.
- Check for warping: Place the inner pot on a flat surface and verify the rim is not bent. A warped pot can prevent a proper seal and should be replaced.
- Test with water: Add 2–3 cups of water and run a short pressure cycle. If steam still leaks heavily and pressure never builds, replace the gasket and, if needed, the steam release valve assembly.
