Steam release knob is hard to turn or feels stuck between Vent and Seal positions.

• Remove and clean valve: Once cool, remove the steam release knob and soak it in warm soapy water. Use a brush to clean all crevices.
• Clean valve seat: Clean the area on the lid where the valve sits, removing any residue.
• Inspect for warping: If the knob appears melted or distorted, replace it.
• Lubricate lightly (optional): A tiny amount of food-safe silicone lubricant on the stem can improve movement, but avoid excess.
• Reinstall and test: Ensure the knob moves smoothly between positions before cooking again.
