Possible Causes
Overfilled inner pot causing overflow into housing, Cracked inner pot, Damaged or missing condensation collector, Failed internal silicone seals around lid or steam path
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker immediately if you see liquid near the power cord or base. Allow it to cool before moving.
- Remove and inspect inner pot: Take out the pot and check for cracks, pinholes, or weld failures, especially at the bottom seam.
- Check fill level and recipes: Ensure you are not exceeding the MAX fill line and that foamy foods are kept below recommended levels.
- Inspect condensation collector: Many Wolf Gourmet models have a removable condensation cup or channel. Make sure it is installed correctly and not cracked or overflowing.
- Dry the interior: If liquid has entered the housing, carefully tilt the unit (unplugged) to drain any pooled water, then leave it open in a dry area for at least 24–48 hours before reuse.
- Service for persistent leaks: If leaks continue with a good pot and correct fill levels, internal seals or gaskets in the steam path may be compromised and require professional service.
