Possible Causes

Damaged or improperly seated silicone sealing ring, Worn float valve seal, Steam escaping from lid due to warped lid or inner cover

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Allow the cooker to cool and depressurize fully before opening the lid.

  • Inspect sealing ring: Remove the inner lid (if applicable) and take out the silicone sealing ring. Check for cracks, hardening, or deformation. Clean it with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
  • Reinstall correctly: Ensure the sealing ring is evenly seated in its groove all around the lid. An uneven ring will cause leaks and E10 errors.
  • Check float valve and cap: Remove the float valve and its silicone cap. Clean both parts and the valve channel. Replace the cap if it is loose or cracked.
  • Look for visible steam leaks: During a test run with water only, observe the lid area. Continuous steam escaping from the edge of the lid or around the valve indicates a sealing issue.
  • Replace worn seals: If the sealing ring or float valve components show wear, replace them with original Xiaomi sealing parts designed for your model.
  • Check lid deformation: If the metal lid or inner cover appears warped or bent, it may not seal properly and may need replacement.
  • Service if needed: If all seals are new and correctly installed but E10 persists, the pressure sensor calibration or control board may be faulty and should be checked by a technician.
