Possible Causes
Faulty Wi‑Fi module on control board, Corrupted network configuration, Loose antenna or module connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: While Wi‑Fi issues are low-voltage, always unplug the cooker before opening the housing.
- Reset network settings: Use the button combination specified in the user manual to reset Wi‑Fi settings (often holding a specific key for several seconds). Reconfigure via the Xiaomi Home app.
- Check app and firmware: Ensure the Xiaomi Home app is up to date and that the cooker firmware is updated if the app offers an update.
- Inspect Wi‑Fi module: If you open the unit, locate the Wi‑Fi module or antenna cable on the PCB. Reseat its connector and ensure the antenna is not pinched or broken.
- Test on 2.4 GHz network: Many Xiaomi multicookers only support 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi. Ensure your router is broadcasting 2.4 GHz and that the SSID and password contain only supported characters.
- Replace module/board: If the Wi‑Fi module is separate and visibly damaged, replace it. If integrated into the main PCB, the entire board may need replacement.
- Use offline modes: If smart features remain unavailable but cooking functions work, you can continue to use the cooker manually while arranging service for the communication fault.
