Possible Causes
Liquid spilled into heater plate area, Condensation on PCB or connectors, Shorted low-voltage circuitry due to moisture
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Immediately unplug the cooker if liquid has spilled inside. Do not power it on until it is completely dry and inspected.
- Dry the cooker: Remove the inner pot and wipe up any visible liquid. Leave the lid open and the unit in a warm, dry place for 24–48 hours.
- Inspect heater plate: Check for signs of rust or mineral deposits on the heater plate and central sensor. Clean gently with a dry cloth.
- Open housing (advanced): After drying, remove the bottom cover and inspect the PCB and wiring for moisture, corrosion, or residue.
- Clean corrosion: If you see white or green corrosion on connectors or solder joints, clean carefully with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush, then allow to dry fully.
- Check fuses: Use a multimeter to check any internal fuses or thermal cutoffs that may have opened due to a short.
- Test operation: Reassemble and test with a simple program. If E15 persists or the unit behaves erratically, components may have been permanently damaged.
- Replace damaged parts: Corroded connectors, sensors, or the main PCB may need replacement. If multiple areas are affected, replacing the entire control assembly is often more reliable.
