• Confirm symptom: Start a cooking program and listen for the relay click. If E7 appears and the pot remains cold, suspect a heater circuit issue.
• Access bottom panel: Remove the bottom cover to expose the heater terminals and wiring.
• Visual inspection: Look for burnt connectors, melted insulation, or discoloration around the heater terminals and relay area on the PCB.
• Check heater resistance (advanced): Disconnect the heater leads and measure resistance across the heating element with a multimeter. A typical value is between 20–60 Ω depending on model. Infinite resistance indicates an open heater.
• Tighten or replace terminals: If terminals are loose or oxidized, clean them and tighten securely. Replace any burnt connectors with high-temperature rated spade terminals.
• Relay inspection: Examine the heater relay on the control board for burn marks or cracking. If the relay is visibly damaged or does not click, it may need replacement (board-level repair).
• Replace heater assembly: If the heating element is open or physically damaged, replace the heater plate assembly with a Xiaomi-compatible part.
• Service center recommended: Board-level relay replacement or PCB repair should be performed by a qualified technician to ensure safety and reliability.
