Possible Causes
Inner pot still very hot from previous cycle, Stuck NTC sensor reading high, Poor ventilation causing retained heat
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: If the cooker is hot, allow it to cool before handling.
- Allow cooling: Open the lid and remove the inner pot. Let the cooker cool for at least 20–30 minutes, then try again.
- Check ambient conditions: Avoid operating the cooker in very hot, enclosed spaces. Ensure adequate airflow around the unit.
- Clean sensor area: Once cool, clean the heater plate and central sensor area to remove any residue that might insulate the sensor.
- Test with cool pot: Fill the pot with room-temperature water and restart a basic program. If H1 persists, the sensor may be misreading.
- Sensor check (advanced): Measure the NTC sensor resistance at room temperature. If it reads as if the temperature is very high (very low resistance), the sensor may be faulty and should be replaced.
- Replace sensor if needed: Install a new Xiaomi-compatible base NTC sensor and retest.
