• Inspect sealing ring: Remove and examine the silicone sealing ring for cracks, flattening, or food residue. Clean thoroughly and reinstall evenly.
• Clean lid surfaces: Wipe the metal lid and inner cover where the ring contacts. Remove any dried food or starch.
• Check valves: Remove the steam release valve and float valve. Clean all parts and ensure they move freely. Replace any hardened silicone caps.
• Test with water: Run a short pressure program with only water. Watch for steam leaks around the lid edge or valves. If leaks persist, replace the sealing ring and suspect valves.
• Replace warped components: If the lid or inner cover is visibly warped, replace the affected part to restore proper sealing.
