Safety first: Keep hands and face away from the steam release area during operation. Steam can cause severe burns.

• Use correct food quantities: Avoid overfilling with beans, grains, or foamy foods. Do not exceed recommended fill levels for pressure cooking.
• Clean anti-block shield: Remove and thoroughly clean the anti-block shield and steam release valve. Ensure all passages are clear.
• Inspect valve spring: Check that the steam release valve returns to its closed position smoothly. Replace the valve if the spring is weak or corroded.
• Natural release: For very foamy foods, allow natural pressure release instead of quick release to reduce splatter.
• Replace valve assembly: If abnormal venting continues, replace the entire steam release valve assembly with a Xiaomi-compatible part.
