Possible Causes
Loose pressure sensor connector, Failed pressure transducer, Moisture on control board, Damaged wiring harness to pressure sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooker and ensure it is completely depressurized and cool before opening any covers.
- Check for moisture: Inspect the exterior and lid area for signs of liquid spills that may have entered the control panel. Wipe dry with a soft cloth and allow the unit to air dry for several hours.
- Reset the cooker: With the unit dry, plug it back in and perform a basic reset by holding the Cancel/Stop button for 3–5 seconds (if supported) or unplugging for 10 minutes and reconnecting.
- Inspect pressure sensor area: On many Zavor models, the pressure sensor is mounted under the lid or on the inner top of the housing. If accessible without disassembling live circuits, check that its connector is firmly seated.
- Avoid using with E2 active: Do not attempt to bypass the pressure sensor or operate the cooker with this error present, as it can lead to unsafe pressure levels.
- If E2 remains: The pressure sensor or its wiring is likely defective and should be replaced. This repair involves opening the housing and working near mains voltage; contact a professional service center if unsure.
