Possible Causes
Insufficient liquid, Steam leak at sealing ring, Steam release valve not sealed, Lid not fully locked
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the cooker is not under pressure before opening the lid.
- Check liquid: Open the lid and verify there is enough liquid in the inner pot. Add more if needed.
- Inspect sealing ring: Remove, clean, and reinstall the silicone sealing ring. Replace if stretched or damaged.
- Set valve to Sealing: Confirm the steam release valve is in the Sealing position.
- Check for steam leaks: Start a short pressure cycle and observe for escaping steam around the lid. If you see continuous steam, the seal or lid alignment is faulty.
- Replace worn parts: If leaks persist, replace the sealing ring and inspect the lid for warping or damage.
