Float valve does not drop after cooking; lid remains locked even after a long time.

Safety first: Do not force the lid open. Ensure all steam has been released via the steam release valve.

• Release remaining pressure: Move the steam release valve to Venting and wait until no more steam escapes.
• Tap gently: Using a utensil, gently tap the float valve from the outside to help it drop.
• Cool the cooker: If the valve still does not drop, unplug the cooker and allow it to cool for 20–30 minutes, then try again.
• Clean valve components: Once open, disassemble and clean the float valve and surrounding area thoroughly. Replace any damaged parts.
