Possible Causes
Worn or stretched silicone sealing ring, Food debris on lid rim, Lid not fully locked, Warped lid or inner pot rim
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not touch escaping steam. Cancel the program and allow pressure to release fully before opening the lid.
- Inspect sealing ring: Remove the silicone sealing ring and check for cracks, deformation, or hardening. Replace if any damage is found.
- Clean contact surfaces: Thoroughly clean the lid rim and cooker body rim with a damp cloth to remove food residue.
- Check pot and lid shape: Ensure the inner pot rim is not bent and the lid is not visibly warped.
- Reinstall and test: Refit the sealing ring securely, lock the lid, and run a water-only pressure test to confirm the leak is resolved.
