Safety first: Unplug the cooker and allow it to cool before inspection.

• Remove and inspect pot: Check the bottom of the inner pot for warping or dents. Replace if not flat.
• Clean heater surface: Wipe the heating plate to remove any debris or food particles.
• Check for loose parts: Gently shake the cooled cooker and listen for rattling. Tighten any accessible loose screws on the base or housing.
• Relay clicking: Occasional soft clicks from relays are normal, but loud buzzing or arcing sounds indicate a failing component that should be replaced.
