Possible Causes
Overfilled inner pot, Missing or clogged condensation collector, Lid tilted when opening, Excess steam condensing on lid
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use caution when opening the lid to avoid hot drips.
- Check fill level: Ensure food and liquid do not exceed the MAX line in the inner pot.
- Inspect condensation collector: Locate the condensation cup or channel on the side/back of the cooker. Empty and clean it.
- Open lid carefully: Tilt the lid so condensation drips back into the pot, not onto the counter.
- Wipe exterior: After cooking, wipe the outer housing dry to prevent corrosion or staining.
