Possible Causes
Failed steam pump, blocked water inlet, defective water level sensor, kinked water hose from tank to boiler
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power and remove the water tank.
- Check water tank: Ensure it is filled, correctly inserted, and that any float or magnet level indicator moves freely.
- Clean inlet filters: Rinse any mesh filters at the tank outlet and at the oven inlet with clean water to remove debris.
- Inspect hoses: Access the internal hoses from the tank to the steam generator. Straighten any kinks and replace brittle or cracked hoses.
- Test pump: During a steam program (with covers refitted and power on), listen for the pump. If silent, test the pump coil for continuity with power off. Replace the pump if open-circuit or seized.
Warning: Ensure all water connections are secure after reassembly to prevent leaks into electrical components.
