Possible Causes

Loose communication harness, oxidised connectors, failed power module, failed main control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains before accessing internal components.

  • Reseat connectors: Locate the low-voltage harness between the main control board and the power module. Disconnect and reconnect both ends, ensuring a firm fit.
  • Inspect for damage: Look for pinched or chafed harness sections, especially where they pass near sharp metal edges.
  • Check board mounting: Ensure both boards are securely mounted and not flexing, which can stress solder joints.
  • Board substitution: If wiring is sound and F20 persists, one of the boards is defective. Replacement of the power module is usually attempted first, followed by the main board if needed.

Warning: Incorrect handling of boards can cause ESD damage. Use antistatic precautions.
