How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off power before changing the bulb. The glass cover and bulb may be hot.
- Replace bulb: Unscrew the glass lamp cover inside the cavity. Remove the old bulb and install a new high-temperature oven bulb of the correct wattage and base type specified by AEG.
- Inspect lamp holder: Check for signs of burning or corrosion. Replace the holder if contacts are damaged.
- Check seal: Ensure the glass cover and its gasket are intact to prevent moisture ingress.
Warning: Use only oven-rated bulbs; standard household bulbs are not suitable and may fail quickly or shatter.
