Steam or combination-steam oven leaves water pooling in the cavity or on the bottom after use.

Possible Causes
Blocked condensate channel, clogged drain outlet, incorrect oven tilt/installation, excessive steam program use without drying cycle
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the oven to cool before cleaning water and inspecting drains.
- Clean condensate channel: Locate the small channel or drain at the bottom or rear of the cavity. Remove debris and wipe clean.
- Check drain outlet: On some models, a hose leads from the cavity to a collection tray. Ensure it is not kinked or blocked.
- Run drying cycle: After steam cooking, run a short conventional heating cycle (e.g. 150°C for 10–15 minutes) to evaporate residual moisture.
- Level the oven: Use a spirit level to ensure the oven is installed level so water flows to the designed drain point.
Warning: Standing water can promote mould growth and corrosion; address drainage issues promptly.
