Possible Causes
Loss of communication between power board and display board, faulty communication harness, control PCB firmware issue
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the appliance at the mains before accessing internal components.
- Power reset: Leave the appliance fully isolated for 10–15 minutes, then restore power. Observe whether F14 returns.
- Inspect communication cables: Remove the control panel and locate the multi-core harness between the main power board and the display/control board. Check for loose plugs or damaged wires.
- Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the harness at both ends to ensure good contact.
- Check for heat damage: Look for discoloration or burning on the boards near the communication connectors.
- Replace boards as needed: If wiring is intact and F14 persists, one of the PCBs is likely faulty. Replacement and configuration should be carried out by an AGA-authorized technician.
