Possible Causes
Open fan oven element, burnt wiring to fan element, failed fan element relay on PCB, open safety thermostat in fan circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool before removing panels.
- Access fan element: Remove the fan cover inside the oven cavity to expose the circular fan element.
- Inspect element: Look for cracks or burn marks on the element ring.
- Test resistance: From the rear of the oven, disconnect the fan element terminals and measure resistance. An open reading means the element is faulty.
- Check safety thermostat: Locate any inline thermostat on the fan oven circuit and test for continuity.
- Replace faulty parts: Install a new AGA fan oven element or thermostat as required. If all components test good, the control PCB fan element relay may need replacement.
