Possible Causes

Loose ribbon cable between UI and main PCB, damaged touch control glass, failed user interface board, corrupted control PCB firmware

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains power before removing the control panel.

  • Power cycle: Leave the oven unplugged or isolated for 10 minutes, then restore power. If F7 returns immediately, proceed with hardware checks.
  • Access control panel: Remove the screws securing the front control fascia. Carefully pull it forward to expose the user interface board and ribbon cable.
  • Check ribbon cable: Ensure the flat cable between the UI and main PCB is fully seated and not damaged or kinked. Reseat both ends.
  • Inspect for moisture: Look for signs of liquid ingress behind the glass touch panel. If present, dry thoroughly and consider replacing the touch assembly if corrosion is visible.
  • Replace UI or main PCB: If connections are sound but F7 persists, replace the user interface board. If that does not resolve the issue, the main control PCB may require replacement.
