Display shows DOOR or a door icon; oven will not start bake or clean cycle.

Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool before adjusting the door.

• Check closure: Open and firmly close the oven door. Ensure no racks, pans, or foil are obstructing closure.
• Inspect hinges: Look for sagging or bent hinges. Lift gently on the door to feel for excessive play.
• Door switch test: On models with a door switch, locate it along the frame. With power off, test the switch for continuity when pressed and released. Replace if it does not change state.
• Latch/strike alignment: Adjust or gently bend the door strike so it fully engages the latch or switch when closed.

Note: A faulty door indication will prevent self-clean and sometimes normal baking for safety reasons.
