How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: If you suspect wiring issues, turn off power at the breaker before inspecting connections.
- Clear code: Press Cancel or Off to clear PF. Reset the clock and test oven operation.
- Check power supply: Verify the range is plugged in securely and the dedicated circuit breaker is fully on. Inspect the outlet and cord for signs of overheating or damage.
- Monitor for recurrence: If PF appears frequently without known outages, have an electrician check the supply voltage and circuit integrity.
- Internal connections: If comfortable, remove the rear panel and verify the terminal block connections are tight and not burnt.
Warning: Loose power connections can overheat and cause fire; correct immediately if found.
