Possible Causes

Defective power supply section on main PCB, Loose mains connection at terminal block, Faulty line filter module, Intermittent neutral or live conductor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains. Only qualified persons should perform live voltage checks.

  • Inspect terminal block: Remove the rear cover and check the mains terminal block for loose screws, discoloration, or melting. Tighten connections and replace the block if damaged.
  • Check mains cable: Ensure the supply cable is not crushed or cut. Replace if any damage is visible.
  • Examine line filter: Many Amica ovens use an EMI filter module near the mains entry. Inspect for bulging capacitors or burn marks. Replace the filter if suspect.
  • PCB power section: On the main control board, look for swollen electrolytic capacitors, burnt resistors, or cracked solder joints in the power supply area. If present, replace the PCB or have it professionally repaired.
  • Voltage verification: After reassembly, a qualified technician should verify correct supply voltage at the oven and stable low-voltage outputs from the PCB.
