Possible Causes

Firmware glitch in control board, Stuck touch key or button, Faulty user interface PCB, Corrupted settings memory

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool. Power cycling is safe but internal work requires isolation from mains.

  • Attempt manual reset: Disconnect the oven from mains for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect. Try the documented child lock key combination from the user manual to toggle the lock.
  • Check for stuck keys: Press each touch key or button firmly several times to ensure none are physically stuck. Clean around the keys to remove debris.
  • Inspect UI board: If the lock state cannot be changed, remove the control panel and inspect the user interface PCB for damage or corrosion. Replace the UI board if necessary.
  • Service firmware: If replacement does not resolve the issue, the main control board firmware may be corrupted and should be reprogrammed or replaced by an authorized Amica service center.
