Possible Causes

Communication failure between UI board and main PCB, Loose harness connectors, Electrical noise or surge damage, Faulty control board microcontroller

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power before accessing internal boards.

  • Reseat connectors: Remove the control panel and top cover. Locate the multi-pin connectors between the user interface board and main control board. Disconnect and reconnect them several times to clean contacts.
  • Inspect harness: Check the communication harness for pinched or damaged wires. Replace the harness if any conductor is broken.
  • Power quality: Ensure the oven is on a stable supply and not sharing a circuit with heavy inductive loads that cause surges. Consider using a surge protector if permitted.
  • Board replacement: If E19 persists, either the UI board or main PCB may be defective. Replace one at a time, starting with the UI board, then the main PCB if needed.
