Possible Causes

Blown thermal cut-out, Failed main heating elements, Faulty main control board relay outputs, Open neutral at terminal block

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains before testing continuity or removing panels.

  • Check thermal cut-out: Locate the safety thermostat on top or rear of the oven casing. Test for continuity; if open and non-resettable, replace it. If it has a reset button, press firmly to reset.
  • Test elements: Measure resistance of lower, upper, and grill elements individually. Replace any that are open circuit.
  • Inspect terminal block: Ensure all live and neutral connections are tight and not burnt. Replace the block if damaged.
  • Control board relays: If all safety devices and elements are good, the main PCB may not be supplying power to the heaters. Replacement of the board is usually required and should be done by a professional.
