Possible Causes
Failed tangential cooling fan, Blocked front or rear vents, Incorrect built-in installation, Missing or damaged internal baffles
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the oven to cool and disconnect power before removing covers.
- Check installation: Verify that the oven has the clearances and ventilation openings specified in the Amica installation manual. Remove any obstructions from front and rear vents.
- Inspect cooling fan: Remove the top cover and check that the tangential cooling fan is present, correctly mounted, and free to rotate. Replace the fan motor if it does not run during heating (requires live test by a qualified person).
- Internal baffles: Ensure any metal baffles or air guides around the fan and control panel are correctly installed and not missing.
- Re-test: After repairs, run the oven at 180–200°C and monitor panel temperature. It should be warm but not dangerously hot.
