Possible Causes

Failed circular (ring) heating element around fan, Loose wiring to fan element, Faulty fan element relay on PCB, Overheated connectors at fan element

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool before removing the rear cavity panel.

  • Access fan element: Remove the screws holding the rear panel inside the oven to expose the circular heating element around the fan.
  • Inspect and test element: Look for cracks or burn marks on the ring element. Disconnect one terminal and measure resistance; typical values are 20–40 Ω. Replace if open circuit or visibly damaged.
  • Check connectors: Inspect the terminals for signs of overheating or looseness. Replace burnt connectors and use high-temperature cable.
  • Relay/PCB check: If the element is good, the control board relay for the fan element may be faulty. Replacement of the main PCB is usually required.
